Guild Wars 2

I was fighting this thief who was using the following field combo;

SB skill 4, SB skill 5 = Stealth

Since I don’t main as thief is this another combo to stealth?

No. Neither skill 4 or 5 can somhow provide stealth. Skill 4 applies poison and area-weakness with explo-finisher and skill 5 isn’t even a combo-finisher. Maybe he used blinding powder to gain stealth.

He could have procced a trait which gives the thief stealth when struck below 25% health. You cant gain stealth solely by using 1-5 SB skills.

My guess is he used offhand pistol #5 for smoke field then blasted the field with short bow #2 a couple times

Is the only way he would be using stealth from a Shortbow if no other traits/utilities are involved. Smoke field then Cluster bomb on that field
