How do you manage to get a mask with what looks like the anonymity hood? Talking specifically about Kurow’s post on page 3. I’ve looked a lot but none of the hoods or masks in game (that I’ve seen) really look like that, and the hood part looks really like the anonymity hood

Does anyone have a picture of the dualist set on a charr? or the Nika set ( same thing ).

gah most thieves here use black/white/dark colour dye combination.
Lets use combination of some bright and fancy colours shall we?

Generally speaking, a good thief would probably stick to dark/subtle colors out of necessity, you can’t really sneak into places in a bright outfit. But at the same time, I like diversity, and I’m sure there’s some decent enough reasons as to why a thief would wear bright colors (like a pickpocket blending into the crowd).

I’m too lazy to go back and check :P So I’m going to take a shot and say it’s most likely the Order of Whispers Hood. It’s a hood that’s got a face mask on it. You can only get it if you’ve joined that Order.

Its definitely not the Hood of Whisper’s.

I actually google’d it and found out that there’s a random glitch that occurs when you transmute two headgear items together. Occasionally they will mesh together, and note that no one has been able to reproduce this phenomenon, and essentially look like a brand new item(while in fact its simply combining the models of the two head pieces). While the person who created the thread on Reddit claims that the model was permanent, the majority of the other individuals commenting have said that the looks were reset after they did any of the following things: Log Out/In, Zone Out/In, Un-equip/Re-equip, Toggle On/Off(headgear), and even Re-transmutation.

It also seems that the player who completes the transmutation is the only one able to actually see the combination, which a few of the posters found out after asking other players in-game.

Aside from all that, it would be awesome to be able to reliably reproduce a result like this!

Make yourself a charr and go to the PvP locker in the Heart of the Mists. Its the very first set under “Medium Armors.” Don’t mind the naming conventions they use in there as the sets go by different names for PvE drops/crafting.

Still looking for some better looking shortbow and daggers, any idea? I’ve changed pearl stinger to this one, not that I love it so much but still better than that pink looking funny bow…

Also I’m gonna go for the whisper’s boots skin.

PS: Those stats are unbuffed and with 25% ms increase passive , NOT the precision one.
One might think I’m squishy.. but with 6-9k crit on warriors I think I can afford that

The ‘Commando’ Set is available as one of your three choices of reward armor for completing Thief(All medium user’s possibly?) personal story quests in all 3 of Orr’s zones. Different missions award different pieces of armor, but you’ll always be choosing between Commando, Pirate, or ‘Trooper’(Guild armor skin) with varying stats.

@ Chris again, if I started it, and keep getting props for it. Then how would that make me a wanna-be? A wanna-be would be someone who tried but couldn’t pull off the look (don’t take offense) :P

AC look, straight up with an eagle, cause why not. I say we all band together in DR and sync /dance, and make a Brotherhood guild while we’re at it.

hehe. Im actually tempted to get the human cultural T3 gloves just because they have a wrist switchblade, but its on the outside instead of inside, what do you think? my pic is on page 3

For an AC look i dont like the T3 cultural gloves for humans :LX the boots tho <3 is what i use for mine Tho i think im going to Revamp my Look for Revelations rather then AC2 xP

Here’s mine. I know, I know, lots of AC-themed thieves already, but I must say, the Leather coat set looks mighty fine on an Asura.

Hood is currently the starter hood, but planning to try out the Whispers Hood when I can get my hands on it. :P
