At the moment i’m running a glass cannon build 30/30/0/0/10.

I think i’ve now made enough gold to buy a full set of exotics.

I’m really confused as to which set i should buy and where i should get it from. Should i be buying this set from the T.P? I have done absolutely no crafting; should i level my crafting and make my own exotic gear? Furthermore, i’ve heard many people like to use “magic find” gear; not sure if i should be getting this or not. I also have no idea in regards to sigils and runes. I have to buy these on top of the exotics right? (Exotics don’t already come with runes/sigils?)

Or…should i be earning exotics though dungeons?

So confused; if u guys can help me pick a set and perhaps a set of dual daggers/pistols and shortbow that would suit my ‘glass-cannon’ type build (and tell me how to obtain it) it would be greatly appreciated.

I also am going to buy T3 cultural but from what i’ve seen they’re rare so that would basically just be a skin…:/

Best way is to do dungeons imho. Paying for crafted gear isn’t worth it because you can basically get it for free. Go for Power/Prec/Crit dmg gear with that build. You can farm CoF for a few days and if you don’t like the skin you can transmute it to anything you want after. Those stats are also available from CoE (Crucible of Eternity) gear but the dungeon is a bit harder. Also finding groups might be an issue right now since everyone is doing Fractals of the Mists.

CoF is the fastest way if you want to do it throug dungeons. You’ll still have to buy runes/sigils. You could consider ruby orbs instead of runes if you want to save some money.

Maybe it’s more efficient to just buy the set and spend your time in fractals instead (I usually make over 70s per run)

Dungeons take forever to get gear with the most recent update to dungeon spamming. You’re better off farming the dungeon for both tokens and gold, while buying what you don’t have the tokens for (buy amulet, rings and accessories first, as you can’t get them with tokens).

You definitely don’t want to spend tokens on weapons unless you have left over tokens after your set is finished or you really want the skin of a specific dungeon weapon. Weapons are around the same price as gear, while they’re quite a bit more expensive to purchase with tokens (armor prices vary from 160-330, while weapon prices vary from 210 for offhand only weapons, 300 for one-handed weapons and 390 for 2h weapons).

As stated, you’ll wanna go with Berserker statted weapons and armor, so Power, Precision, and Crit Dmg. For the jewelry, I recommend going with Valkyrie, for Power, Vitality, Crit dmg. It’ll add about 3k hp to you, and if you are quick on the reactions, those extra 3k hp will save your life time and again. With that setup, you’ll still have like 45% crit rate which is more than enough for a burst spec to finish someone off.
