Guild Wars 2

I hear thieves counter them, yet i’ve been having a fairly hard time. Even when I get clean backstabs, the damage feels very reduced, as if im hitting a bunker guardian, instead of a dps class.

What strategies have you guys found effective vs mesmers? Thanks!

Don’t ever 1 v 1 them. During team fights or +1s, bring Basilisk Venom and pop it when they use their shield block. Avoid shatters as much as possible.

As a mesmer main I will say i have the hardest time vs thieves better than me.

If we are of equal skill I have the advantage, but there are just some thieves who make me feel inadequate

Double dipping with Consume Plasma gives you a free window to enter melee range and do as much damage as possible.
