Guild Wars 2

I’d like to get an armor set (w/ trinkets) that I can use for WvW and dungeon runs. I’ve read that knights is a good set to purchase for this. I’ve also read that you can mix up knights, valkyrie and berserker parts. Also I’d like to know what would be the best rune to place on it. Basically, I’d like something that has a balance of dps and survivability. My budget is around 30-40g. thanks in advance.

Can always go got a self healing condition damage build. This work very well in both WvW and dungeons. At least for my thief it does. I have yet to gear him in exotics and all that so I cannot suggest runes atm.
