Made a pretty cool build
Desperate attempt to receive a reply other than my own, check. Looking for suggestions, at least to runes. Debating Evasion and Vampirism.
Seems to me, that you can go starving on iniciative with this build, Staff already eats a lot of ini in few combos, i gotta test it tho, looks interesting.
With your Trickery and DrDvl choices I would use Roll of Initiative as well, it’s like a mini Withdraw with those traits aside from it’s base effects though that may be a better choice in WvW than spvp.

I hate spam replying to my own thread, but its a work in progress.
I went to pistol/pistol as my sustainable set and dagger/pistol to my burst 100-0 set. RoI is great, but scorpion wire pulls DH off traps and fist flurry stuns melee engagers and imparing daggers deny reapers and scrappers (and many chronomancers). I’d hate to lose a good portion of burst to get a little more initiative in initiative light builds.

this is what i use. it works pretty well but requires very quick hands.. i’ve been thinking of swapping fist flurry for signet of agility for even more endurance. fist flurry is hard to use practically because enemies are always moving too much to get all the hits off. may be better for pve. if my health starts getting low i get the hell out of there and drop in again with vault. if they try to run i burst them down with shadow shot/heartseeker, dash out and cripple with impairing daggers. still tweaking it.
in my opinion with a little more work this build has the potential to be meta
will also be experimenting with sword/dagger
