Major Overhaul for Profession Mechanic (F1)
A toggle able perma stealth would be horrible, but an insta cast 3-4 sec stealth that causes Aoe blindness with a 240 radius on 25 sec CD would be more balanced and fit with Thief gameplay more, but with how Anet seems to be trying to delete Stealth by constantly adding in spammable Revealed this would never happen and stealth will be left in its pathetic broken state.
Hmmm. Stealth in sPvP is vital. Its not your answer to everything, but there are a lot of situations where you need it, be it for offense, defense or just deception.
If you mean ‘perma-stealth’ do you mean a stealth toggle (already rendering all other stealth sources obsolete) or something like ‘second shadow’(broken)?
Either way this would require to rebalance the entire class around it, just changing the profession mechanic and letting everything else as it is wont do.
Depending on how high the cooldown is this could even be a nerf. Steal usually decieds a fight.
All in all I could imagine this, but rather as a function of a future elite spec mechanic.
Daredevil focusses on the bruiser type, another elite spec could improve our stealth aspect.
And bound to an activation cooldown and either a casting time or a to-hit requirement. Stuff needs counterplay.
