Anytime a player is in stealth, it should count as being in combat. Stealth should not be an easy way to get out of combat and heal to full. Please change stealth to count as being in combat for regeneration purposes.

Pretty sure it already does. You do know most thieves take the talent to regen hp when in stealth though right? Alot of others take the heal where every time they hit you they heal for around 150hp. These are things that add up fast.

Already does. What you’re seeing is either thieves heavily traited into shadow arts, or using multiple shadowsteps to quickly escape from you.

People still don’t understand that what allows thieves to escape is two-fold. They rage at stealth, but they’re really being defeated by mobility. It is easy to kill a stealthed enemy who isn’t faster than you, thieves do it all the time against slower thieves.

One without the other isn’t nearly as useful. If stealth didn’t exist at all most of these thieves could still escape with superior mobility. Conversely, if thieves didn’t have the mobility it’d be quite easy to dispatch them even in stealth and much more difficult to get enough distance to break combat before re-engaging.

Funny how ppl still want nerfs on thief. You want thief to be squishy but also not mobile and evasive so war like yourself can stomp it while walking without much effort, where is fun in that?

You see, ppl like me will find way to play class they like despite the nerfs. ANET nerf Burst dmg I’ll go Cond build and bleed ppl to death, they nerf that i’ll go Shadow build with thieves guild and be pain in kitten again. Its better to learn how to play your class than asking nerf on another cuz this way it will go until every class becomes auto att only and even then someone will be unhappy. I have problem killing mesmer, I wont say nerf it. I’ll play it a bit, learn his pros and cons and adapt to that and do my best when dueling one.
