Heya there,

I have spent HOURS in the hearts of the mist looking in the pvp locker, trying to compose a nice outfit for in PvE, but I just can’t find anything. Almost all of the medium armour looks the same, the ‘Assasins armour’ I way too typical for thieves and who cares about pants? The trenchcoats cover most of it up anyway I’m looking for something that is different and good looking. The ‘Vigil Coat’ looks kinda ‘ok’ but the bottom part of it really sucks, Anet just HAD to put a skirt on it, hiding most of the pants :’( without it would have been perfect…

If you have found a good combination for a Male thief, please let me know… I’m desperate :p

Not real sure what you’re looking for. I tried to mix some armor sets together. Some badge armor, the krytan armor skin on BL trading post and some Karma armor. I look pretty bland, but I think it’s fitting.

Hm, I don’t know. I’m trying to get rid of the long trenchcoat ,but that seems to impossible :/ I hope Arena Net knows that the game needs better medium armour…

I’m sure you have looked, but have you checked out the cultural? If I remember right, the tier 3 is more of a tank top, but there’s really only half a trenchcoat on it. Doesn’t look too bad, but not my preference.

Yeah I saw it but it does not look so special to me. Maybe I’ll find something nice in one of the future events

GW2 lacks in variety with Medium Armour more then the other two types. Medium is 90% trench-coat mafia, and it sucks.

Light is quite possibly the best, especially with female characters. Heavy is great for both genders. Medium is a bit more friendly with females when it comes to Cultural, but hurts equally with the horrible trench-coat designs.

For my Thief I was happily to buy Gems for the Magitech set, and used the leggins to replace the Tier 3 Human Cultural, and it looks great with the Tier 3 top. Though how long until I get bored of seeing that, I wonder…
