Are there ANY medium armor options that do not have a coat/dress/skirt/kilt? I would just like to have pants.

The duelist set is the only one I know of and it requires that you are a female. I am not.

This is my main issue with Medium armor, especually when GW1 Assassins had 0 armor like this. If you’re a male there are NONE, currently. HotW coat is like that but it’s more flaps on back and out of the way at least, as with Sylvari racial.

I think the t1 human cultural is pants and a jacket.

There are none currently, my main gripe as well. The Vigil chest piece, Duelist, T3 culture, and Ascalonian all look good, but they all still fall under the “coat/dress/skirt/kilt” idea. If you want to look lite, use heavy armor. If you want to look absurdly heavy, use medium armor.

Studded, or superior studded, has a fairly short chestpiece (jacket) for females and – looking at the armor db – for males as well.

Edit: On female the Silent Walker karma coat available from fields of ruin looks like a short coat very similar to cultural tier 1
