Could you help my getting the setup that I’m currently using getting better or is it fine?

So I got this based from Yishis D/P build, but I changed it because I thingk steal is a really good opener to combat and I wanted to get advantage from that. Btw the original build is 0/20/30/20/0

What do you think of the changes
The build if for small group/solo roaming. I also use it in PvE because I’m lazy but is general and easy PvE (mostly CoF runs once a day and that’s it)

ok changes as long you can save you initiatives and again be careful with conditions as you got no removal (like when stealth)

Yeah beside stealth I also have shadowstep which removes 3 condition when I get back, but I usually end up using it to run away so I don’t use the return all that often

I really dont think the extra 10 points into trickery is worth the dps loss you get from 10 in critical strikes. Thrill of the crime is only 10 seconds of fury and swiftness (the 1 might really doesnt do much) and imo i dont think its worth the 100 precision and 10 crit damage you would have in crit strikes. If you really want the crit percentage you can take furious retaliation or side strikes.

edit: i forgot you might be also wanting a cooldown reduction on steal, but i also dont find that worth the sacrifice

edit 2: Here is my current wvw build its a whole lot glassier than your build, but you can substitute in soldiers or valk gear for some more survivability. I’m not really sure its what you;re going for, but its got perma stealth capabilities (although you might have to get 4 heartseekers instead of the 3 through the blinding powder), and it concentrates on stealing and phat deeps.

This is what I used to run as D/P, berserker gear, knight’s trinkets.. foods are very important with this though, but it’s the best D/P build to go 1vX, imo.

After a while playing Thief I notice that I needed condition removal, and since thief doesn’t have condition removal (almost) I though that Lyssa Runes with the venom (shortest Elite coldown) and Shadow’s Embrace could do a good job for condition removal and that way I’m able to switch my Heal for Withdraw, that has a short coldown and removes almost all CC

Soldiers and Berserkers, not Valkyrie.

So I have 77% crit damage with valkyrie an you want me to take to 61% and have 2600 armor
Foes the damage loss compensates the armor gain (Idk but the settence is problably really bad, but I don’t want to use google translate)

Your damage and EHP both go up using Soldiers and Berserkers to match the EHP gains of Valkyrie.

I think I maybe wrote out the math here

You dont have to if you world verses world. You’ll have enough badges in very little time to get a full set of soldiers armor

I’ve spent most of my badges to Soldier set for my other 2 characters. This is why I need a main character otherwise I will spend like crazy for every single character I have
Well farm AC might be not that bad, plus I will get 2.5 gold everyday if I do the dgn every day. Beside I also need it for Fractals eventually
I’ll start the farm today
