So ive had this idea for awhile, and someone may have already posted it. But what if i made a build completely centered around steal. That obviously means 30 in trickery, and that tends to be more condition based builds. So here’s what I came up with.

When you steal you poison, heal, stealth for 3 sec (SA 15), clear conditions because of stealth, daze, steal 2 boons and get 15 sec of vigor, and gain initiative. And all of thats on just a 19 sec cool down. Its nearly perma poison and vigor, just from one skill. The choice of runes allows for lots of might, and with 25 in SA, you can walk around with 20+ stacks of might in a fight all the time. That means the sneak attack on your pistol will do 5k+ damage, over 6 seconds. 6 seconds isnt a whole lot of time to clear conditions, and you can easily apply poison and torment, and lots of cripple on top of it. You want to be using steal ALL the time to heal, interrupt, reapply poison and get vigor, or set up a sneak attack from stealth. This build has fairly low initiative gain, but the new base initiative regen makes it so you don’t even need to trait for it.

Seems good, I play a hybrid/power based variation of a steal build that works quite good so this should do at least decent I think.

Long range on steal might be needed in your build. Having no offhand pistol is always bad since you lack the “hard interrupt” headshot provides. So steal is your only interrupt if someone tries to ress a downed enemy. That might be a problem.
