My current WvW build

Hello! I ran a very similar s/p build for the last few weeks. The 30 in trickery is so much fun to run. I haven’t tried it with d/p yet, but I ran nearly the exact same set up as this with s/p as main weapon. I took Withdraw, Shadow Step, Sig of Agility/Inf Sig, Shadow Refuge. I don’t have Lyssa runes so I ran s/p over d/p and sig of agility. I’ll have to give this a shot with d/p as primary weapon!
I did exactly what you do for camp flipping and I found this build with s/p and those utils swapped in is my fastest camp capture time.
Thanks for sharing
soloQing my way through leagues…
My s/tpvp build is a 10/30/0/0/30 sword/pistol build concentrating on booms and dazes, so I wanted a wvw build with similar ideas, but I decided to try it with dagger pistol for roaming and sword pistol for flipping camps or certain small group play. I think I’ll start streaming more so I can show off this build in action (without editing out my bad plays).
I got into a fight with 2 glass rangers and a glass ele the other day and managed to finish 1 ranger and 1 ele, but the other ranger got far enough away to waypoint during my second stomp. With this build you hit like a truck and if you play well you have some solid defensive abilities. Perplexity engineers are the hardest thing for me to fight when I’m running this setup. If you can see the engi and equip sword/pistol before the fight starts it’s a lot easier to win, but if you still have out dagger/pistol you are going to have to play a perfect game.

excuse me for my ignorance but I must be missing something…this build seems to be like crazy glassy. I’m running this build http://gw2skills.net/editor/?fYUQRAoY4alUmiO3ey4E+5Ey2DfqCJKeGOlR5fgsA-jUCB4LEa0kFBiIQjO5RQM7RZtMsIasqFYKTER1eDFRrWGA9xA-w and i have more health and more power (i know they are two different builds with different strategies) but how in the heck do you play with that low of a health pool? Share your wisdom good sir.

You’re right. Its a VERY glassy build. You really have to time your interrupts, stealths, and blinds well if you want to do well with the build. Since you don’t have very many defensive abilities you have to really pressure your opponent hard so that they begin to play defensively. And you absolutely have to interrupt key moves like heals, mass invis, evis etc.
