I have actually run something like this before, you can pick people up in a couple seconds, it’s the trolliest way to play and really drives some people up the wall. It’s more fun than it sounds.

Play double shortbow with energy sigils + quick pockets. Take shadow’s embrace to negate conditions, and cloaked in shadows to make yourself a pulsing smoke field while reviving with shadow’s refuge.

I wouldn’t run a build like this in real PvP, lol, just screwing around in hotjoin.

So in all seriousness, I played around with this build for about 5 or 6 solo ques and hotjoins in the down time. DID NOT DIE ONCE. Didnt really kill anything either but outlived or bunked down to the point the other person got tired and ran off. Teams fights obviously are where this build shines. If my team was near me they didnt die. All in all its an annoying support build.

Yeah a build like this is straight amazing for a small 5 man group running around in WvW. I used to run a similar build on my thief, but i like killing people too much haha. Support thief is deceptively powerful if ACTUALLY played kutos for posting man, maybe some WuvWuv guild will pick this up in their havoc tactics (Hell even I might)

After tooling with a few new builds tonight with the reasoning that “maybe I kind of exaggerated the nerfs… thieves could still be fun.” and hitting a few walls, I think I might just be going back to my ele. I hear those guys see buffs sometimes.
