conditions are not as good as direct damage,
don’t do it, imo
yeah i have a zerker set for pve, but was wondering of going condition as an off-set for maybe pve and wvw for a change of pace.
the objects are immune to conditions (like ac burrows/cof p1 pedestal/siege), 25 staking limit etc.
and not to mention the remove conditions playes have….
it’s not worth it.
When I started playing GW i was in love with conditions but after I understaned how the game works… there is no place for full conditioners (hybrids are better).
In the current PvE model (dungeons did not change from the relese) pure Damage >>> pure Conditions.
Why conditions are not too good ?
1. Many “dead” objects like gates, burrows etc.
those need to be taken asap, but the only stat for dealing more damage is raw power
2. 25 stack limit per mob.
what this means if someone take 4, other one 3, another one 5, you have only 13 slots left for your bleeds… the rest is taken by othem members who doesn’t need to have condition damage gear so their conditions do 30% of your damage wich quite sux
3. Many bosses have their conditions remove really fast and very often.
Lupicus resets his condies very often, CoF p3 last boss also reset all his conditions and by that you cannot stack them = you don’t do damage…
4. Condies need time to do sustain damage and lack burst.
burst damage is as far the most important thing to take down your enemy fast, the faster you get it down the less damage it does to you and your team
so until the pve model starts to favorize conditions more thery are more or less usless…
