Hey, so I’m trying to learn solo arah. I have ascended/exo gear – armour is zerker’s, most trinkets are soldier’s with some zerker’s thrown in.

I’m to be unable to kill Belka. Would appreciate some tips. Currently I’m trying to kill her with s/p (accuracy+force) while having a signet of malice up and putting down smoke screen when I can. I find I just don’t leach health back fast enough to stay alive. Same result with d/d. Anything I can do to improve my chances or am I just destined to not being able to do it? =D

Replace the soldier trinkets with berserker. Stay with S/P but sigils should be Force and Undead. Heal & utilities: signet of malice, of agility, of assassin, smoke screen, daggerstorm. Undead potion + heal on crit food (dragon rolls). Build 5-6-0-0-3 for the extra initiative. Pistol whip spam will be your friend – slot the trait that gives a damage boost to dual skills.

Use smoke screen and daggerstorm on cooldown. When not available spam pistol whip. Profit.

Thanks. Though Belka is not undead, so that sigil wouldn’t improve my chances against her would it?

All monsters in P2 are considered Undead by the game, just as gravelings in AC are considered Ghosts. Belka and Brie, however, are also considered Inquest, so if you have a Mad Scientist sigil it will stack with the Undead sigil.

If you just sit back and watch a few of your attempts, you’ll easily be able to see when you cast pistol whip and learn the point when to cast it to guarantee the evade on her fire. As a tip, it’s almost immediately after she fires you should be recasting. If you do it right, there’ll be 3 evades in a row then dodge roll the next one.

Careful when teleporting to chase her down though. She’ll often toss out her electro ball and unfairly 1 shot you in melee range.

If you don’t want to dodge at all you can use the new trait " Invigorating Precision".
Together with the other healings from signet and the food you should be able to facetank her.
Just use smoke screen on cooldown and remove burning while smoke screen is up and spam pistol whip.

I’m not sure if this works with soldier trinkets but you need zerker anyways :-)
It is obviously slower than an executioneer build but easier and safer. You should try it when you struggle a lot.

Looks like I can’t facetank without zerker trinkets. Will try again when I have them.

Is there any video of a thief soloing it? The ones I found have too much fastmotion to see anything, or stupid text all over the screen

I want to be able to solo arah p2 at some point, so this is a pretty handy resource, thanks! ^^

The thing is if you can do lupi, you can do the rest of p2, but then p1 is easier, and you might as well do that =P

The only reason I’m REALLY interested in p2 right now is because I can get solo access to practice lupi without having to pay for tar boss.

Though the ooze fix might stir things up, we’ll see

P3 is much easier to solo for a thief, then comes p2 and after that comes p1 of course, cause of tar.

when you were using cluster bomb on the boxes to heal, why wouldn’t you explode them to heal 3x as much?

Also I just finished a p2 solo, will post a link to it in here when it’s uploaded. Should show a few decent tips. The only really annoying part is the final boss because now you almost have to kill all the mobs before you’re able to fight the actual boss. There is a way to cheese the boss but that doesn’t count if you’re looking for the satisfaction of a real solo.

With the exception of tar, I actually find p1 to be the easiest and p2 much easier than p3.

It’s up now. Should have been when you posted but I was being dumb and forgot to publish lol. It took me almost a day the 1st time I did Lupi solo but I was also using a very sub-optimal build. If you’ve done arah lots I bet you could do it in a couple hours the 1st time. Every time after that will be much faster.

I’ve never fought lupi even in a party, so this should be interesting =P

At least it’s easy to run back to lupi after death, running back to Abomination every time was a pain.

I actually have a few. If you want I’ll post the most recent one I did in regular speed. Wasn’t really planning on it otherwise. It’s the most relevant because the rest I did were about a year ago. The only really hard part about Lupi is his p2 aoe. The only reason that’s hard is because you can double or even triple dodge it and still get hit/1shot…

The main problem with most of the footage is it’s from before april, and I hear there was a significant nerf to crit damage then. I only recently started playing again so not sure exactly what happened

Edit: How did you manage to dps down the last boss before getting tped out? I tried duoing it with a friend recently and we just barely made it with the two of us.

If it’s his old video he didn’t, there were no mobs so you could take your time. If its his most recent he did kill the mobs right after bringing down brie to 50%.
You can burst down brie in one go, a safe way to do so would to have a pistol with bloodlust sigil to get 25 stacks at the beginning of the dungeon (get impaler with BL sigil so you don’t lose stacks in water). You can keep the pistol the entire run. Have a second sword/pistol set so you can make use of sword with force pistol with undead AND bloodlust. Then use 66xxxx something with double daggers for brie. The trick is to get the mortar kit consumable to distract the mobs and then always always dagger 5 and baxkstab from behind for 16k crits. As always full zerk.

I know the feels. At least I didn’t have to re-readjust since I came back in June.

The solo was done a few days ago. I didn’t know the mortar kit existed until someone commented on my vid too so that’d make it easier. You can see what I did in the video that’s posted though… All I did was dps her to half, leave and let her reset, kill ALL the mobs that spawn (getting them to not run past you is hard), then kill them. If you stay by the stairs you’ll be invuln to their attacks so you just have to worry about not getting kicked around too much by the deadeyes (but inquest can hurt you).

I tried over and over and over to burst her down and the closest I got was just under 10% hp. If thieves guild did damage to her I’m certain the burst would still work

Since I’m focusing my build on arah, this seems like as good a place to ask as any.

I’m intending to add the +4 infusions to a couple of my ascended gear. Since I only have a limited amount of laurels, I’m wondering if I should just add +power, or is there any merit to going for +vitality? I could only get like +12 at the moment.
