Need help wvw blob thief build!
Commander needs to not only survive blobs but also to command the amassed fighting power that is following the commander. Nothing new but … thief skills can allow this more than other professions. Blobby does what Blobby does best .. zerg blindly smash kill and chuckle later. However that might not be the case if the commander is in stealth mode out of kill zone and is able to observe and then effectively direct and command.
Additionally prevention is a better strategy = management of crisis rather than crisis management. Observers, lookouts and feedback to you is “critical” to success of defence, avoidance or ambush = information is intelligent commanding. As in many wvw situations its a lot like the blind leading the blind = zero fun, zero achievements results are not just zero but NEGATIVE.
So your build needs to be looked from my point of view as a humble elder warrior of gw and gw2 who is also building a thief and will get me a blue nose. EOTM is way faster and far less boring than the WvW I cut my teeth on.

Yea, thief overall isn’t the most solid profession for commander, but you may want to consider an evasion build instead of a stealth build. Try something with S/D & SB and consider going deep in Acro and/or Trickery without venoms.
I would go down the Acrobatic tree if you insist on playing S/D. Shadow Arts is really for X/D or D/P. You have very little stealth to be using Shadow’s rejuvenation effectively.

As Dakheus suggests S/D might be a better idea, but S/P isn’t bad it’s just not as mobile even though you’ve got access to a blind field.
I still insist that an Evade Build using full Acrobatics is your best bet, but putting 2 in Shadow Arts for a bit more toughness doesn’t hurt.
Plays completely opposite professions to his main Teef.
