If you use Lotus Training, your dodges will also apply poison (and bleed/torment/cripple) while in the gas. Consider using Blight instead of Doom sigil on the dagger set since it is an AoE. If you want to max the poison, go with Thorn runes. Spider Venom is also worth consideration on the utility bar.

If you use the condi dodge then thorns runes would be better, but trapper runes opens up a pretty interesting playstyle with P/D and shortbow. I still have 100% poison duration, and baiting people into traps to then immob them for 10s plus while spamming choking gas on them is pretty hilarious.
Don’t follow me, unless you enjoy being chased by angry men with sticks.
Power Build Condi Build
Umm, this build has too much poison duration (50%), basically wasted points since 100% is maximum. Consider reallocating these points..
Consider an Asura when mking this build and use the racial skill “Radiation field” this a 15 second poison field and if used in conjunction with Caltrops there few things a thief has that can deny an area as effectively. Whilrs and projectiles through this 15 second field add more poison.
Runes of the Rata Sum can also work nicely here with that Asura. Your build already uses a bit of precision so get a wee bit more (while losing Condition damage). With Blight on the SB you will inflct poison from your attacks with a high rate and have a second radiation field source. While this has a high cooldown, when rotated with the Asura racial field and the caltrops you garner a nice sequence of effects that can help keep people off you at melee range.
My own existing build uses trapper runes with p/d s/b and high condition duration so as to get high and frequent Immobs to lock the enemy in the field.
I wvw a lot and it can be a pain, even with changes to Condition damage to take out left behind enemy siege. I switch up my build slighlty when I encounter this stuff using Caltrops and rad field over top one another, ensuring potent poison on and then spamming the SB poison. You can very often get three pieces of enemy siege at once and add yet more poison with whirls in the field along with those projectiles.
Use this in a lords tower on the champion with some pals and you will see 10K per tick poisons with relative ease. Enemies rushing into that to help save the twoer will be in for some hurt.

It is a bit more dodgy and condi heavy overall but it focuses on poison stacking for full effectiveness. Hits really hard and can do some serious damage to anyone who doesn’t have an instant condi clear with them. Also with thorn runes’ full bonus that’s about 2k condi damage with the added 10% damage from lotus training. Provides extreme damage with a ton of survivability and tankiness along with a new and cooler playstyle than evade spam db thief.
