Can we get a trait that makes the steal ability place you directly behind the target? The meme stock potential here is bordering on a monopoly

What, a whole trait for a QoL change? Seems a bit much, considering all you have to do is steal take a step, and turn a few degrees to face the opponents back.

I’m pretty sure that you can run across someone and backstab him in the back without turning the camera. Grenth bless the lack of body blocks ^^

There’s no trait for it already?!

No I find it hilarious because 10m ago, a thief killed me in 1 second. Yes, literally 1 second. Steal for 3K, that attack which cloaks for 7K, backstab for 14K. We where running straight toward each other and bam dead. I couldnt tell one attack apart from another, from my point of view that was a single steal teleport, it was that fast. That was with 2000 toughness.

Most of Thieves got enough edgelordism within them to go “Nothing personnel kid” without the actual teleport.

you know that steal use to do just that in vanilla?! they changed it after a few month cuz all the crying about backstab

While I don’t usually like to correct people’s spelling, the title should say personal not personnel. The meanings are vastly different.

I think the misspelling is part of the meme.

You need steal to do that? Just use sword dagger, get in their face, blow them up, then shadowstep away again.
