Guild Wars 2

I’m not very familiar with the profession yet, but I think I do not properly understand the off-hand light option. Not equipping an off-hand gives you a third skill and leaves 4 and 5 blank.

What are the benefits of this?

All I can see if you’re down two skills and some stats…

There is no benefit at all. Never do this. Ever.

you move and attack faster

Its just for early leveling since other classes have 3 skills on their main hand and 2 on off hand and we get 2 main 2 off with a dual skill. Other wise when you start youd have a dagger with 2 skills and be saying f this

Basically those attacks are there so you have a thirds button during early stages of the game before you get your first offhand weapon.

There is no benefit on sticking to it.
