One Backstab does 17k damage.
My elementalist in exotic cleric gear, which gives toughness+healing (afaik healing is supposed to reduce crit damage, not 100% sure though, still, I was stacking toughness just to avoid being insta-gibbed), was two-shotted by a warrior for >14k damage in one hit, yet the highest crit my ele as the squishiest of all classes managed to ever get was like 6k (in berserker’s gear, where he gets one-shotted by rabbits) and that was probably against some level 20 player who go upscaled because it was so rare, so yeah, nothing surprises me anymore. I dunno how much longer I’m gonna play this kitten really.

“Burst” builds die instantly to other burst builds it’s no surprise, if you want to survive get toughness + vitality which is what arenanet hints at since their PvP badge reward gear is also power+toughness+vitality

Badge gear in pvp? Oh you mean WvW. Hahaha, thats not pvp.
Im talking about spvp, which you clearly know nothing about. I suppose I should’ve clarified this in my original post but this is in concern to spvp. Also, my “burst build” isnt a burst build in the sense that you are referencing it to. You really should do some research, 17k damage is unnatural for an AUTO ATTACK. Yes. Auto-attack. You know, that skill in the number 1 slot?
Anyone have some real feedback here? Is this a bug? Exploit? Is there a Thief build I have overlooked in my research that allows their autoattack to do damage that would one shot ele’s and support/hybrid guardians?

I dont know much about sPvp, but can your armor break there like it can in pve? Hitting them all at once isnt hard, he probably popped haste to get em out quickly, or the critical strikes trait that causes haste, or the sigil that has a chance to cause haste. Otherwise I dunno, because I never hit that high as a thief, although I havent explored pvp much yet.
