So we tested the highest possible Backstab for solo roaming in World vs World post ferocity nerv. (full ascended armor/wpn/trinkets scholar runes buff food as well as max bloodlust and guard killer stacks are used) Testing buddies are a full PVT Guardian and a Mesmer in full Zerk to show the both extremes.

Should have done something like full cavalier’s instead of full soldier’s. The higher toughness would reduce the damage more, so you’d get a lower extreme.

I feel the damage of the CnD is the more noteworthy this in the demonstrations. It’s damage is easily 30-50% of the backstab hit. It’s always seemed a bit hard to me that this ability can hit so hard when it also awards with with a stealth attack follow up. You’d think enabling a high damage backstab would be enough of a reward for landing it, but it can also put out massive damage on its own.
