P/D or D/P
D/P is always better as far as I’m concerned.
It has interrupts, blinds, and Free Roaming stealth outside of SR.
P/D has conditions, in combat stealth, and a gap creater.
Additionally, P/D is weaker with shortbow.
Also in that matchup D/P wins.
All that said, P/D is easier to play effectively.
Norn Guardian – Aurora Lustyr (Lv 80)
Mia A Shadows Glow – Human Thief (Lv 80)
Thanks Shockwave! Any more ideas people?
I think these weapons complement each other nicely and run both from time to time
But yea D/P > P/D any day of the week
A well played D/P is unbeatable IMO
P/d is cheesy and allows bad players to make mistakes and still win fights. D/P has more team usefulness via interrupts, quite safe stomps, blinds, and overall better burst allowing a quick negation of the other team dps.
Hmm…I was looking at some gameplay of D/P and people seem to only use #5 and #1 and the occasional #1 for a backstab. I don’t really like the gameplay, unless I’m mistaken, because you rely heavily on stealth. I think I’ll stick with P/D, sorry heh
Thanks for all the input!

That’s cuz they’re bad
Good D/P thieves make use of Headshot and Shadowshot
Play what is most fun to you but if anything P/D only uses 1/5 with the occassional 3
Rarely will you use 2 or 4
You don’t rely on stealth much with d/p ( assuming a real pvp build). In combat, you mainly use auto attacks and heartseekers for damage, and shadowshot/ headshot for interrupts and sticking to the target. You stealth only to decap points without being seen or for a quick backstab on a squishy.
After you’re post I played some D/P and wrecked! xD I guess thread closed…
