P/P Pv E thief build
You may be able to kite 1 melee but without using Overload your damage is so low you will hit 80 just about when humans figure out how to travel at the speed of light!
One of the big pro’s of condition/pistols the way I see it is that the 1st skill in pistol stacks bleed without using initiative
I mainly use D/D with my condition damage build, but I also use pistols quite alot, depending on the situation. Mostly at single targets, but I think it is fun to switch during combat (I have a sigil on one dagger and one pistol that deals poison damage first attack after switching)
Your first combat skill with pistol in main hand stacks bleed, and if you are stealthed when u use this skill u do quite abit of damage and stack many bleeds. Sometimes I go in with daggers first, use the fifth combat skill there to get stealth (that or u could use blinding powder/shadow refuge) then I switch to pistol, get poison on next attack as well as doing alot of damage with the stealth attack. Stealth gives me regeneration and I get heals when using poisons so I have quite abit self healing going on
I’m currently level 58, aiming for this at 60:

This build offers alot of survivability. Sometimes I switch the Assassins Signet with Shadow Refuge (Stealth and healing) for even more survivability. Try to get as much condition damage as you can from gear, good amounts of vitality, and decent amounts of power

I currently have to choose between stealth removing a condition or giving me regeneration. It depends on what type of NPC’s I’m fighting. Destroyers leave a very nasty poison or burning effect that lasts awhile.
I might spec 0/0/30/0/20 at level 60 instead of the 0/10/20/0/20 and then place more into Critical Strikes or Trickery from 60-80

You may be better off with pistol/dagger instead. You’ll still get a default attack that has bleeding, but you’ll also have an attack that doubles as a dodge – which you absolutely need if you’re going to use a ranged weapon like a pistol.
