P/P at all doable for WvW?
Never seen the fun side of p/p. Nor do I see anything special about it (just my opinion) I do see the odd p/p in wvw though. I remember when they buffed unload dps there was a small hype where there was a fair few numbers of them, even used in gvg gank squads, but tbh even with unload they are pretty useless unless you use a melee main weapon and p/p as 2ndry
gw1 – healing signet/frenzy/charge
there’s this guy that does videos with woodenpotatoes sometimes, he made a thief P/P + D/P interupt build for WvW which seemed decent last time i watched, check it if you like the idea.
Nooctae ( Thief ) / Encelya ( Engineer ) / Jane Crimson ( Elementalist ) / Kowywr ( Revenant )
Europe, Vizunah.
anything viable in WvW <3

pretty much this even in roaming you can run a condi great sword warrior if you wanted to lol
Without richocet it is not the same. I loved p/p even with its potato range. Miss it.
P/P is somehow still bad after 3 years despite having the exact same simple and obvious problem all 3 of those years – presumably because their QA and balance people are just terrible.
That said, anything can more or less work in wvw.
There’re different ways to play Thief P/P.
Some examples found on the net:

I’m playing Thief P/P for three or four months both in WvW and PvE.
Acutally I play a dodge oriented P/P daredevil and it’s very dynamic and pleasant.
The only thing I’ve not tried for the moment in PvE is the raid. Normally i soon should try that with my guild.
In WvW, I play it as a Skirmisher around the zerg, Killing weak or wounded enemies, or attacking other thieves.
In a small team it has the same role, and it can be very efficient assisting another player.
I have found something unusual to play, not so easy to play (a positioning game), and very fun for me.

It’s still pretty bad, part of the reason isn’t p/p and its issues but because projectile blocks and reflects are too common in the game.
