Thank you
Condition duration is only good for Weakness, Vulnerable type of condition. When it comes to damaging conditions like Bleeding and Torment, Intensity >>> Duration.
You’re better off with Rune of the Aristocracy (f.k.a. Nobles) from Caudecus.
Full set of 5 unique skills for both dual-wield weapon sets: P/P and D/D – Make it happen
PvE – DD/CS/AC – If that didn’t work, roll a Reaper or Revenant.

I will disagree here as you can have both and duration becomes incredibly significant with things like Immobs and the like.
I have used both Runes of the Noble to build intensity and Runes of the Nightmare to build duration and in small fights there little difference when specced correctly. What you might lack in overall intensity giving up might, you gain with your truly damaging conditions staying on longer because the “cover conditions” tick for longer and you can apply a wider variety that (s)tick around.
IE using BA at 10 seconds duration while your DB bleeds are at 20 puts a heck of a lot of pressure on an enemy to cleanse when they also got weakness, vulnerability, poison and the like running on them.
The key is you can not focus on one type of condition to extend the duration. You gotta go for the works and try to get pure duration on the works. I would not use krait for that reason.
That Body shot with the P/d set at 2 seconds immob as example makes a heck of a lot more sense.
With Nightmare one can get 100 percent durations and 2200+ intensity.
Nobles runes are much stronger in hybrids however and does allow for great white damage.
My gut feel for length of time fighting one on ones using Nightmare over Nobles is Nightmare takes them down faster. This depends on the speccing of course of the enemy and players still adapt to the new skills and builds.

This is a power p/d build I prefer. Much more involving, and offers good burst that can be controlled. I urge you try this build as it is very entertaining and MORE than viable. (I have 1vXed with it as well as won almost every 1v1)
This is a beast condi thief i’ve been playing the past few days .Tested in large zerg fights it’s really amazing how tough the thief is with this simple build.
Your bleed do a lot of unoticed damage .
CONSTANT Bleeds all the way ClusterBomb+Caltrops+ Daggerstorm + Sneak attack and a lot of stealth = a lot of toughness + condi clear.
You can change some thing but this is the main idea.
I love krait runes.

2OP:
Well, I could say I don’t understand your choice of traits, but I think, you know what you do. Here is my condi build for www http://gw2skills.net/editor/?fZQQNAqYVlsMp7plOx8J8PNRSBx9CCQC8uF1I+d9BA-T1RAABaoEEgXAwVK/QS9nq3fIH9FQY+jUAQMNC-w
Lets me know what you guys think about the build been playing with the build for a very long time.
These are IMO:
-Hard to Catch is pretty much a worthless trait. Going 20 into that tree is more or less worthless as well. Its 100% bunker, which is pretty unnecessary.
-Might on dodge doesn’t really out weight the vigor you could be having especially since you already have permanent might stacks from SA.
-Blind on stealth is way more powerful that SA III. It actually can be your saving grace. You already have high armor and HP on a defensive weapon set, having two sources of regen is not necessary.
-Hopefully you can get ascended jewels
-Duration has always been the ‘make or break’ of condi builds and your duration simply does not exist without food. Givers weapons are a much better option as is 10 in Deadly Arts for mug/poison/extra duration.
