Piercing Rounds, anybody?
Not sure why you’d have to make it conditional when other classes just get flat out piercing traits. Not looking them up or anything but I seem to remember both Warrior Rifle and Ranger bows (not sure if long/short/both) get piercing traits that aren’t tied to chances. Seems like a standard trait that I understand our shortbow not having (thanks to bounce) but the pistols would get a much better shot at being used by me if this were the case.
Yeah. I felt like Thief got left out as well, Yami. Even the WARRIOR gets it.
does engineer’s pistol pierce?
Warrior (Rifle), Ranger(LB) and Engineer(Rifle) all get piercing. Ranger gets bouncing(Axe). Not sure if any other class does besides thief. Maybe that’s the trade off?
We also get bleed application on ranged auto attack(Pistol). Don’t think any of the other class gets that except necro.

i think the logical thing thats why we dont have piercing pistol trait is just because we have sneak attack.
Ranger axe, elementalist staff (Air #1) and thief shortbow all have the same bouncing behavior. There are probably other classes too
Given the lack of AoE on pistols, I would love to see this come about. Maybe on unload only if people are concerned about coupling bleed and an AoE effect.
