Pistol Whip Evasion?

Always feel like i died before getting in the dodge animation(less than 1 second… that’s how fast thieves go just like ambient creature)
The evasion is very short. Incredible hard to time. They now buffed D/D nr 3, but this one seems to still have the old. I guess you are supposed to also have a short daze duration (affecting target, so they cant have stability), and then dodge. I admit the skill does a lot for being one skill. But for the evade (in current meta) is underpowered by a long shot. Especially with the pvp nerfed 6 initiative (pve is 5).
But no worries. Josh davies & pvp team are disconnected atm from player base. So this won’t get fixed.
No excuse anymore for not giving ‘hide mounts’-option

Evade seems to be working fine in WvW. Our skirmish team runs one of these builds and generally, Basilisk is started, PW is primed then pop Steal so the daze/stun/stone land and a full whip ensues. Finish off or reset for another go in 20s. Any counter attacks from secondary sources are generally evaded. That first 1s is the dangerous spot since PW has a pretty big pre-cast.
