It seems like this trait was made to make a power pistol build possible.

Possible where?

In PvE, everything is “possible”, but I think shortbow is better anyway.
In PvP, panic strike is much better.

I think it would benefit only CnD+backstab spam against a mob, picked with dagger traning. Useless in all other cases.

in wvw i see exactly what you’re saying. you get revealed after one shot from stealth pistol. so the next 4 shots all hit for +200 power. Make a build Azure, lots of good p/d zerker builds!

It boosts your attacks by about 8%, it is not worth it. If it gave +20% boost on revealed, then we could start thinking about it, but now – not really.

You don’t even need revealed training, it’s been viable for a while. Check out my build thread, it’s seriously worth giving a try.

I made a video of power p/d over a month ago. The build still holds strong…. not changing a thing. If you decide to take up Revealed Training over going into the critical strikes/shadow arts lane, you’re going to have a bad time. It’s also not worth the 8% damage… especially when critical strikes offers a 10% pistol boost AND executioner… which is 30%+ damage total.
