here’s a comment about this revealed buff..

The 3 second Revealed seemed to fit just right with CnD to Auto Attack chain. The 4 second Revealed screwed this up, now we need to let the 1st Auto hit on a second chain before we hit CnD again. It’s just messy and rough. I run mostly PvE and run a CnD build. I’ll switch from S/D to D/D depending on the situation. Got my 6x Mesmer runes for S/D and with this change it lessens Tactical Strike. D/D is quite good sustained damage with backstab, this change reduced our ability to backstab there for reducing our DPS.
The changes lately are more than nerfs, they attack the core mechanics of the thief. A once ‘elegant’ stealth rotation is now clunky. The agro/stealth mechanic that once helped us stay alive is gone.”

i think its 100%.. untill now i cant time my CnD well, or sometimes its made me to w8 for this 1s and got killed cuz of it..

i HOPE they will give this some attention pls..

Its not really about the counting part, its that it feels weird to play now. Its not as smooth as with the 3 second reveal.

To compound this I notice stealth isn’t there when I need it a lot more. Makes some intense situations harder then they should be. Especially considering any other class could just waltz in a wreck face unhindered. I don’t build glassy and I find I get into that situation where revealed is still up and I’m in dire need of some healing or condition removal and it feels like those scenes in monster movies where the survivor gets on an elevator and is waiting for the door to close as the monster charges at them.

I don’t see it as a nerf personally, but it does not feel smooth. Nerf didn’t succeed in nerfing anything(although it gave the illusion of it). The culling was the real nerf(fix) here. It just made many thieve builds clunky and weird. Definitely does not feel right at all.

I personally think it as an unneeded change, as the things it was meant to correct are still rampant (think permastealth X/D and D/P builds), and the 4s debuff only hurts the PvE Thieves, who were already the worst off.

I’d rather like to see the 3s debuff come back with the original intended nerfs (that is to say 3s revealed after stealth ends no matter what) as I personally think it will solve most of the QQ about Thieves permastealthing, and Thieves in general.

This coming from a balanced build shadow fighter, my rhythm is all kittened up. I like to use D/D so when facing multiple people, it’s amazing how that 1 measly second has caused me money in armor repairs. The sad thing is, MONTHS of rhythm and habit have to be gotten over and it upsets me. Now even I find myself in dire need of HiS and find myself purposely waiting for the revealed debuff to be gone, yeah that has happened before but not nearly as much :/
