Please fix skill delay on Withdraw

Wouldn’t this make thief a better class?
QoL buffs usually make things better yes

Wanted to make a thread for this. Glad you did take time to do it.
Tooltip says Withdraw is instant, no cast time, just like Roll for Initiative. Yet it’s not as reactive as Roll for Initiative. It will hang in time for your current queued skill animation to finish before it triggers the backward flip.

even if you having nothing queued up it will still have a bit of a delay but thanks for bringing that up

i though it was just game lag? but yeah i usually click it 2-3s before my character moves. thank you for bringin this up
“QoL buffs usually make things better yes”
Unlikely then
I’ve personally never noticed this, and I’ve always found withdraw quite responsive, not sure why.
EDIT: Just tested it out, both withdraw and roll for initiative seem to function the same way, neither will cancel CnD while dodging will. On the other hand neither dodging nor withdraw/roll for initiative will cancel heartseeker or death blossom.

Dodging itself does not provide immediate evasion so why should withdraw? :P
When I push the dodge button I dodge. I’ve never noticed a delay. but I’ve certainly noticed the delay in HS, Withdraw, Evasive Shot, BP, etc. It’s quite aggrivating when you use these moves 2 times because you just assumed the first click didn’t register kitten you $10 keyboard!).
yea I do that a LOT too ather, especially with IA, leaving me with 0 initiative
@ wonderful
Read the 1st post again. Just explained that dodging (my v key) has 0 delay whereas withdraw has a small delay. I was talking to about 3 other thieves in my guild yesterday and they all noticed the exact same thing. At least when it’s with sbow 3 it kind of makes sense. It’s an extra attack so waiting for the last one to finish is logical.

Is there a small delay or is it just affected by the skill queue system?
I wish we had a way to toggle which abilities we want to enter the queue system or have them interrupt whatever we’re doing at that moment anyway. It would make a few skills much more reliable to use as a way of avoiding damage.
cof p2, the first room with the 3 flamethrowers, you’ll notice the difference between Withdraw and RFI :P
