Ranger pet got revenant attack hitting for 30k that requires you to use 3 dodges at least, meanwhile i struggle to even get 3k backstabs on people (with maradeur amy) because of abudance of weakness/protection/invuls/aoe etc. What is your justification for all thief nerfs and such pathetic state of the class? Cmon. I would love to hear some intelligent explanation. Because frankly i think you don’t have any.

kittenin thirty thousand damage if you didn’t dodge. That is ridiculous. I love thief and am much more ambitious about the new elite spec than most on this forum. Also this class has a much higher skill floor and alot of people are awful. That being said that needs to be reduced no matter what. That skill needs to be toned down on revenant also. This whole skillless DMG skill that can’t be stopped without a CD or all of your endurance needs to stop being looked at as acceptable. All reward no risk… Seems logical right?

Those things are so annoying. I stood in front of a Vet one in PvE while it did it’s stupid smoke dances all the time just wondering when the hell it was going to allow me to hit it. It pretty much gives itself full immunity to all damage for 20 hours and spams it like crazy and attacks you with rapid strikes with 30 more hours of dmg immunity during it. That thing was a harder fight than the Wyvern that could never hit me.

The Ranger pet also allows you to stealth off that field for some nifty extra annoyances. Just think of black powder could block projectiles. :s just nasty. Nasty nasty creature.

If it’s half of 30k…that’s 15k which is still full dying for us low hp folk.

The screenshot of damage is 24k, translating to 12k with the changes if not dodged and crits. On the ranger forum someone says that pet can get up to 25 stacks of might which may be what we’re seeing in the above?

So I wouldn’t assume it’ll always deal 12k of damage if you don’t dodge – it may be dependant upon other factors (vulnerability, stacks of might etc) that we’re unaware of. But those things in PvE are annoying as I use most of my dodges… so a rapidfire after that may become un-dodgeable without being Daredevil (not got required hero points yet).
