Guild Wars 2

Thief is the class with fewest and weakest group abilities, and our damage is behind many classes as well, so why bring a thief in a group for PvE content? The only reason is the AoE stealth that is very good for ressing, but being a ress-bot is not why I rolled a thief.

Please make us more useful in groups, or give is a “Reincarnation” so I can change class to something more useful (the replay value of GW2 is way to low for me to reroll).

Make venoms better and buff venomous aura range

I love having the ability to stone a boss. Personally it’s one of the coolest things in a dungeon I’ve ever seen.

Venoms are so underwhelmed for Thiefs, and the elite skills are worst of them all, 1 second stun every 45 seconds. So I agree with you there.

But most of all I want to feel useful in a group. Today, there are no reason (except for stealth-ressing) to have a thief in group instead of for example a warrior.

And 2 thiefs are very redundant, especially if they are both condition specced (they will hardly do more damage than 1 thief).

Oh what fun times, throwing a dancing dagger laced with Basilisk’s Venom at the Collosus Rumbulus in mid scream as debris are just starting to fall.

He’d get so mad at me, charge right at me try to kill but im just like CnD cant see me bruh.

try to use best wpn ingame (shortbow) instead of just 2-2-2-2 from your double carrots…

Well maybe you need to realize that 2-2-2-2-2-2 while using D/D isn’t always the way its being played.

Tells me a lot about your game play if you all you do is 2-2-2-2-2-2-2-2 on your Short bow.

Sorry to burst your bubble brah, shortbow =/= best weapon in game.
In game no such thing as best weapon in game.

Short bow best for crowd control, bouncing arrow hitting multiple targets, aoe.
Vs Single = SUCKS.

P/P best for ranged single target, stacks bleed with auto attack, burst damage on dual, provides blind for team mates.

D/D best for single target DPS, via BACKSTAB, not HS spam.

P/D, Best for single target condition

S/D D/D best for mobility and surprise attacks.

S/P was viable , not anymore.

The fact that you think theres ONE best weapon for thieves just makes me laugh knowing how horrible of a thief you are XD

Learn to melee.

i really think you all dont read posts, outa here .. as last time, try to combinate your gameplay with #3 from bow, #4 from bow, use combofields, use gamemechanics…

guess what, power trait makes it so that if you poison a target they weakness too, gasp.

that means at the end of every lotus strike, target is weakened if specced that way.

Oh hey guess what happens when you shoot black powder from pistol then jump out of it with a heart seeker?
You get stealthed OO, amazing huh.

Guess what happens when other people jump into your smoke field?
They get stealthed too, I know! its weird huh.

but yeah Dagger dagger probably can’t do the massive aoe condition damage like on the short bow.
OH wait, LEAPING DEATH BLOSSOM. :|

But hey if you want to think the shortbow is still the BEST thief weapon there is, be my guest, but every good thief nay, every good GW2 player regardless of class, knows all weapons are situational.

Why do you think D/D Elementalists still carry a staff in their back pack, because theres times when D/D gets them killed and its best to keep their distance.

The fact you think SB is the superior choice because of combo fields pretty much tells ne what I need to know about you.

SB is great in a group build. Infact its prolly the only weapon you’ll run in fights greater than small numbers. The ability to spam blast finishers is absolutely insane for WvW.

That being said if you’re running some lame dodge build with SB being your main….you are thief’n correctly. Remember all SB burst/DPS has been nerfed in sPvP.

Are there any dagger skins modeled after carrots in game?

Anyone saying thief is strong in PvE is either simply trolling, or more likely one of these guys that think a boost for one class is the same as a nerf for the class they are playing.
