Guild Wars 2

Attached is a screenshot of a skill. I recently starting using a bow since mine increasing my power by 5 for each kill I get with it, up to a limit.

Anyway, it says the skill’s poison lasts for 5 seconds, however I shot some Wurms with it, to get my power up quickly, and I counted the poison hit 19 times, it may have lasted longer, but by hit 19 the Wurms were dead. Not necessarily 19 seconds, but it was definitely more than 5 seconds. The Wurms didn’t hang around in the poison field either, and there’s no way that my condition duration bonus is that high, especially since I just reset my traits.

Anyone know why it lingers so long?

AH! Never mind. The poison’s duration actually stacks for each second the enemy’s in the poison field, which is really cool.

Since Wurms usually take a while to move, I guess the poison’s got enough time to stack enough to kill.

I’ll leave this here in case anyone else was wondering.

The field pulses 5 second poison every second. Additionally, any projectile finishers fired through the field will poison.

If I shoot 2 fields, and the enemy’s standing in both, will they gain 10 seconds extra for each second they’re in there, or just 5. I’m trying to test it now to work it out, but it’s hard to tell =/ I imagine so, but I’d like other’s input..

Target a wurm and hover over the poison condition under their health bar. It’ll state the duration.

Haha, look at your screenshot – it gives your root directory which has your first name after users. I always like doing that to people. It makes them go “wtfpsychic?” x3
