Potent Poison

Poison’s base damage is on the low side and as such it doesn’t benefit as much as it should from condi damage. It makes sense for the Thief’s poison to be more effective.
They should just make it affect weakness duration as well. It would mesh nicely with lotus poison then.
The Necro trait increases Poison damage by 50%.
Potent Poison should increase duration and damage 33%.
Thieves don’t need dmg increase on poison, increased duration to block healing is what they need. If anything, bumping it to 50% like [deep cuts] would be sufficient.

I don’t agree. Poison is a major part of Thieves’ condition setup and the damage is lackluster. Yes, the healing reduction is important too, but I’m not advocating a nerf for it.

No, rangers have that trait. and that’s a grandmaster (not that it’s worth the slot tho)
having duration/dmg increased by 33% would be too strong in comparison.

Necros and Rangers have the trait that improves damage by 50%. I think the Thief trait should be hybridized to improve damage by a smaller amount, or there should be a new trait improving damage.
My main issue is not liking how poorly Poison scales with condition damage.

Btt: Thieves have a big collection of venoms already, actual poison is supposed to be rangers specialty. If anyone needs more poison, then thats rangers first.
