What do you think about having a trait that scales bleeding off the Power stat instead of Condition Damage? Do you think this would make Vital Shot more appealing?

Depends on how much it will scale, since its easy to achiev 3k+ power, you cant just scale them 1 on 1, thats way too much damage to have on an autoattack.
This will also buff zerkers by taking caltrops along their dps-build (since you only really need 2 utilies anyway to boost zerker damage). IMO its too OP unless its really lowly scaled.
I think he was going along the lines of a thief version of guard’s Radiant Retaliation except it was Bleeding and Power instead of Condition Damage and Retal.
I also updated it for clarity.
Replace residual venoms,increase base venom strike,partiall helping DB on power d/d and maybe seeing other power amulets on thief.
Interesting concept.
If it’s within reason, I’d like this. It would give moves like deathblossom and vital more viability with powerbuilds…and clusterbomb would just get better

death blossom has just ben the ugly duck in the D/D set for ever XD
For weapon set like D/D why would anyone go full condi if this trait was available.
Condi build’s source of dmg: bleeds from DB
Power build’s source of dmg: direct dmg from aa/backstab/hs/cnd AND relatively high bleed dmg.
While this trait would be fine for P/D (improved dmg for power P/D via bleeds, full condi would still do more condi dmg cos of torment on 3), on a set with bleeds as the only source of condi dmg, the trait would simply cause all condi builds shift to power. Ofc that would depend on the scaling.
