Also as far as traits I’m running 25 Deadly Arts 30 Critical Strikes and 15 Trickery. Using VI and V in DA, V IX and XI in CS, and V in Trickery
if you are talking about dungeons and group pve
i’m using d/p for trash. aoe blind is awesome.
i switch to p/p for ranged boss and d/d for melee boss.
my utilities are
shadow refuge: helps a lot when someone goes down and to manage aggro.
blinding powder: same reasons as SR
haste
I’m trying to focus on doing the most dmg that is physically possible
as selfish as it sounds, I leave the buffs and management to the Guardians and such
I just like doing big numbers haha xD
You asked for a viable build. I think that some utilities are better then “big numbers”. I generally play with random classes so it could happen to not have a guardian, nor a heavy armor character in group.
You should also consider that if you are dead you do no big numbers.
pve is all about blinds, weakness and dodges. And interrupts is a nice add. = pistol offhand
Sword/pistol for extra movement, crazy auto aoe damage, built-in stun break in case you fail to dodge some
Dagger/pistol for single target weakness upkeep, and signle target blinding instant gap closer
Shortbow for aoe poison+weakness and luster bomb spam. Also extremely useful for evading for example after using haste (no endurance left to dodge) or if you used haste as stun breaker.
Sadly, as far as harder pve content goes, having just enough vit to surivive one-two hits in case you fail dodging is all you need from defensive stats and traits.
