PvE damage food for though
honestly, as someone who ran condi thief for 3 years, all I can say is play it if you want to have fun, but don’t go near high-end content. dungeons were tricky for a while, fractals were tough, raids will break you. because, in the end, thief is more or less the worst condi class. no burning (which is about 60-70% of all condi damage) and can’t stack conditions anywhere near as well as some other classes (ranger bleeds, for example). plus, you’ll die a lot more than other classes.
it’s fun, it’s just not effective.
It depends. If there are ads, players with cleave may accidentally waste charges, resulting in poor dps. If you want to intentionally spread the damage, caltrops and traps have higher damage potential. If you want single target dps though, 30 stacks (6 stacks x 5 people) of poison for 12 out every 32 seconds equates to an average of 11.25 consistent stacks, which can’t really be beat.
Actually I find myself doing 20 stacks of vulrenability with P/P CS DD and T
Plot Twist: Elder Dragons are massive robots created by the Black Lion Trading Company.
Think of the money they make off weapons and armor…
I’m currently theory crafting using Trailblazers + Rune of Thorns and stacking Poisons using Impairing Daggers, Spider Venom, Needle Trap, plus Dagger Training and Potent Poison traits.
And yes, I’m actually looking into using Venom Aura (puke).
Full set of 5 unique skills for both dual-wield weapon sets: P/P and D/D – Make it happen
PvE – DD/CS/AC – If that didn’t work, roll a Reaper or Revenant.
