First of all I like to say that I really do love dual pistols but almost every build I find needs Short Bow or some kind of stealth into the build and it feels like you have to rely on it to move around or survive. I’m more of a “timed-dodge” person. So I came up with this fun build that I like to use in WvW once in a while.

I need to point out that you can use whatever armor stats you want. The main focus are the runes and traits I’m using.
-The Superior Runes of the Warrior allows you to have a 7 seconds weapon swap cooldown which compliments the Acrobat’s Grandmaster trait, “Quick Pockets.” Allowing you to have a huge amount of initiatives for people like me that love to spam Unload to burst down any enemy to a more defensive stances or even make them fear you and run away. Lol Other than that. I’m not sure how many of you know this but it also compliments these Superior Sigils; Energy and Battle. Now you can use whatever swap sigils but these particular sigils are either “Bugged?” Or working as intended. Both says “9 second cooldown” but with 7 seconds weapon swap. They still proc. Allowing me to abuse the swap buffs for more dodges (with energy) and more attack power (with Battle.)
- Also, as for utility. You can use whatever. I use Signet of Agility for more dodges in the heat of battle, Shadowstep for gap opener/stun breaker/condition removals, and Shadow Refuge (Not for stealthing away or reset but to abuse the combo field and allowing you to use Sneak attack at least twice before the field ends) or Roll for Initiatives for obvious reasons. And your choice of Elite skill and healing skill. I like Withdraw because of the gap opener, stun break, low cooldown, etc. Sometimes I go with Signet of Malice.
- Traits. Everything in Acrobat that I chose is self-explanatory
Trickery however can be tampered with Thrill of Crime for Uncatchable(since you’ll dodge a lot and not allowing your melee enemies to get too close), Bountiful thef to strip those annoying boons off your enemies but mainly the Vigor buff it provides for more dodges or Ricochet, and Hasten Replenishment for more initiative but honestly it works with Sleight of Hand. As for the last 2 points you could go either Mug or Pistol Mastery. C:
Unfortunately I don’t have a video for this but I’m sure you’ll catch on how this build works with the abuse of swapping your weapons and “almost” perma dodge. Hope you guys enjoy this build. Feel free to share feedbacks about it.
