So I havent played GW2 since mid January and even then I was a ranger but at that time I was starting to doubt that I want to keep playing as him so I stoped. Now I’m seriously thinking of diving back into GW2 and roll as a thief or engineer. The thing is that the more I read he more apparent it is that condi dmg is the way to go with most professions and I dont really like that. Anyway my question is, can anyone link me a guide that is approved as a good guide for an PvE/dungeons and also explains how to utilise your skills.
Also english isnt my first language so if you find any mistakes then feel free to go all gramma kitten.

The most common dungeon build is 25/30/0/0/15 (the last 15 can really be put anywhere, but is usually put in trickery for the extra initiative).

This is a guide for cof p1 speed run on thief, which isn’t as popular now that it’s been nerfed in terms of rewards, but it outlines why you take each trait and when to use each weapon set (specifically geared towards cof, but if you read in between the lines, you’ll notice the patern of trash mobs = sword, shortbow = might stacks, and d/d = bosses). One thing of note is you’ll have to learn how to dodge well. If you don’t think you can learn to dodge well enough you can trait a bit more defensively by going 0/30/30/10/0, which has the same basic things just relies on stealth a bit more for healing, and does a bit less damage, but is way more survivable.
