Revealed Training
Or is there an actual condition called revealed?
Yes! That one.
Full set of 5 unique skills for both dual-wield weapon sets: P/P and D/D – Make it happen
PvE – DD/CS/AC – If that didn’t work, roll a Reaper or Revenant.

Not quite. In the dungeon, using D/D during a boss fight will give you a lot of DPS. With the rotation of CnD→Backstab, your auto-attack while revealed will actually deal a lot more damage.
With the new Trapper Runes, you can now used S/P and capitalized on Revealed Training when using Pistol Whip.

Good choice, the +3 initiative will do more for you than 200 revealed power. Especially since the GM minor crit trait gives 10% damage when over 6 ini.

Not with daggers in boss fights. D/D have no use of the extra initiative, so the increased auto attack damage will actually add up quite much.
All the theorycrafting points to Revealed Training being a major contributor to absolute top-tier DPS while using daggers, so it is not pointless – in fact, it’s mandatory in order to optimise.
Resident Thief
Is 200 (250) extra power really that much better than 10% extra dmg considering any decent dungeon party stacks might?

the rotation of D/D allows for the 10% damage increase, so you still gain the bonus damage and the revealed training power increase.
Also worth noting that in conjunction with Mug, you can CnD>Start backstab attack>Immediately steal, triggering mug and breaking stealth, using a backstab that is also boosted by revealed training IIRC.

Mug breaking stealth is a bug so I wouldn’t count on that.
Scratch that, I was thinking about Hidden Thief and Mug.
