Guild Wars 2

Hey All,

Been playing a S/P build since I hit 80. I am currently wearing full exotic beserker armor and weapons (No Runes and +5% damage sigils). It is a full Glass Canon build (30/30/0/0/10) and I hate it. I thought it would be fun to Intercept in WvWvW and burst down some stragglers, but it’s a very gimmicky build and I’m now looking for something with some more staying power.

Can anyone recommend me a build that I could still use with the gear above? Or should I cut my losses and switch to a Condition build and run D/D or P/D? After the nerf the build is even worse than before and with just over 11k hit points I am total fodder for opposing realms.

I’m looking for the whole build, including recommended traits, slot skills, gear, runes and sigils. I’ll figure out the playstyle from there.

Well there’s still backstab cheese. Which I think would probably work even better in WvW than PW cheese.

Also don’t underestimate what Unload/Haste can do.

I used to mess around with a really fun Dancing Dagger build. It was a hybrid between 30 in Crit and 30 in Shadow Arts (just for the huge survivability/longevity), find 2 people and just mega burst them down with DD spam. I was might stacking with 10 in acro and the Might in Stealth minor trait, and using P/D just for range.

Kinda gimmicky, but seriously fantastic against 2 targets, or mesmers.

A cute trick to inspire you. Trait that gives 2 init on stealth, gives 2 init per Shadow Refuge pulse + Dark Combo Field. Spam DD til empty, shadow refuge init back, respam with 100% projectile finisher (life steal dmg), on top of Spider Venom + lifesteal trait.

Any build you can link would help out alot.

You could go with some condition build. You have to work harder for your kills tho ^^ I have a link to the build on my youtube pvp movie down below. I’m running D/D P/P and it works just fine for me =)

try out builds yo u never know u might find a build u really love that u made up.

You can still use sword pistol. It still does great amount of damage.
Now it just takes a little more work.

Look up Lowell’s builds. I was switching between all the glass canon builds early on but just wasn’t having any fun. I switched to a p/d-sb venom build from Lowell’s guide and haven’t looked back. He updates his guides and pretty much has a build for all weapon sets.
