I am a new thief, soon to hit 80. what are your thoughts on the new gear for thief?

In theory it could actually be kinda decent. That’s totally presumption though.

I wouldn’t use it, the only thing I’d consider other than full berserker is valk with 100% crit trait if you reaaally need the extra vit.

I would argue that because the baseline is lower but the scaling from gear is the same, Thieves get more benefit from +Vit than professions with higher base health.

Considering it’s a good stat combo anyway, I’d argue it might be worthwhile.

As it has a vitality main, try putting just a few pieces of this armour into your setup rather than a fully sentinal setup. The lack of precision, crit damage or raw power in sentinals if you went full sentinal would be problematic.
