if you think about it, it makes sense that a thief would have a big coat, considering a thief steals things and would need a place to conceal those things. just saying.

Shoulders look crappy there.. And the white is just washed out.. Rest of it is ok.

yeah that looks pretty cool, the only thing i dont like about that hood though is that the sides stick out and makes it look weird.

The ethos behind my new look was “how do I get as many knives on my person as possible?”

Worked out pretty well, I think. I forgot to enable the Whispers shoulders in this shot (it has 3 knives on it) and the Whispers boots aren’t clearly shown (knives on both boots). Masks/hoods don’t appeal to me that much either, so I went with a sweet battle-tattoo/birthmark thingamajiga.

Been running this look for a little wile, I really didn’t like t3 shoulders + gloves, so I added some flavor in there.

This is how my Asura Thief looks like

I made mine around what went well with the guild armor chest piece. So I have the hood on the head, Duelist shoulders and gloves, Whispers pants and T3 Human boots. I look pretty cool and the colors match up well.

Didn’t realise I had shots that included my shoulder-piece. Fits a lot better that way. Well…here they are. Whispers shoulders + boots, TA helm, rest T3.

Best suggesting would be towards Anet in adding Assassin armor from Cantha. ;/

Duelist, but I use my transmuted anonymity hood, and I transmuted other boots. This is my favorite setup/look.

Mine is still a work in progress but here it is so far. It is a mix of Rascal, Invader’s and Duelist. All I need is for Anet to add motorcycle mounts and I will be all set.

I like the Sylvari Cultural armor when you mix and match the “tiers” even though people seem to prefer the Human Cultural.

I’d suggest previewing your race cultural and picking pieces out from each tier to fit your image.

Helmet – Tier 3
Body – Tier 1
Shoulders – Tier 1
Legs – Tier 2
Gloves – Tier 2
Boots – Tier 2

would really like the human medium T3 chest for females not to have that skirt thingy over the right thigh. It would make that chest a nice alternative to duelist coat.

atm, the duelist coat is only chest piece that goes well with vigil pants. There are only 3 shirts (counting that T3 assassin’s coat), and krytan jerkin has a really weird neckline, not very appealing IMHO.

if half of the trenchcoat mediums were like this instead then we’d be perfectly happy

A set that mixes the Arah armor can give a good yet exotic look, for anyone looking to get away from the overrated and overused duelist / hood looks. The HOTW armor deserves a mention aswell.

heres my thief, love this game!

I initially wanted to use human T3, but seeing as how everyone uses it on their thieves nowadays, I decided to go with something different:

All i see is human t3 armor everywhere. Those with other races t3 gear and other gear is epic just like my thief but who knows i might be the same as the others with the inquest chest.

Krytan skin w/ WvW chest and shoulders.

Most compatible with my taste.

I’m quite envious of the male’s Krytan coat. It looks so much better than the Krytan corsete I get!

I haven’t seen anyone use my armor yet, which is why I used it. Also, anyone know where to get the slayer’s shoulder pads? It’s really bugging me that I don’t have a full set.

After a looooot of looking around for some decent armor that doesn’t look like a trench coat with rubber boots…

I would have loved to go for the tier3 human cultural armor (it was the main reason i started a human actually…) but that price just seems so high :/
Had to buy a legging with my other character at the Vigil and a coat with another character at Whispers and transmute them to give to my thief, but i think it was well worth it, i am very pleased with the results.

Well, here’s my dude. Til I find head armor I actually like, I’m going with the hood 80% of thieves wear haha. Been running thief for awhile and I’ve honestly been loving the hell out of it.
