I’ll give a thief that burst damage, they can keep that high damage. They can keep that steal ability and everything else. However, if you want to really make it fair, make to where if I hit one of you while you stealth it de-stealth.

I"m just saying, I can’t target them once they are in stealth. Noting saying I can’t flee but I mean here are the issues of just turning away.

1) Extra damage when my back is turned..
2) As said while back, most of my escape skills require me to have a target for them to activate.
3) Now if they were invulnerable I could see it working, because I still have a target. But you can’t sit there and tell me. "I"m going to stealth in a middle of a fight" .. “Well hell he already knows I’m near him, but funny part I could be anywhere now..He won’t be able to dodge regardless unless it’s random.”

Edit Just make it where they can’t stealth a certain distance or duration is lower when they being damaged.

I’m the [Captain] of the T.Coast

Channeled abilities will continue to hit a stealthed thief if activated prior to the thief stealthing and he remains in range.

Losers make excuses, winners make it happen.

okay well then give us perma stealth and can only stealth out of combat.. much like a wow rogue.. that would make it balanced right…

you know how hard it is to play a stealth based class with only a 3 sec stealth.. its our only defense.. i think the stealth is fine, plenty of ways to counter it

Any damage already coming our way still hits, regardless of stealth. Any AoE ability hits, regardless of stealth. Making these break stealth would completely destroy any chance at having a viable stealth build.

Now, one thing that might be interesting, is to have a shadowy, blurry outline or aura appear if you hit someone that is stealthed. This way you could see something is there and attack that area or get out of the way, but the thief would still be in stealth. This idea comes from the Spy in TF2.
