Whatever build you like, just find one over the forums and try it, also all the tactics and tricks, i think, can be seen in videos here and on youtube.
You’d better find it yourself, because your questions are too common and you should just use search.

1 and 2 probably require more of an answer than I can fit in one post, but here are some tips for answer 3 regarding stomping enemies:

Stomping a warrior, ranger, guardian, necro, or engineer:
Blind these enemies before trying to stomp them as this will prevent being interrupted by their downed abilities. The blind field from skill 5 on a pistol offhand is best for this.

Alternatively, you can just stealth unless against a guardian or an engineer who has been downed long enough to use their #3 ability. This is because the guardian #3 and engineer #3 abilities do an AoE knockback.

Stomping a mesmer or elementalist:
Don’t attempt stomping these classes until they use their downed skill number 2 as they will just jump away from you. Missing a stomp is as useful to you and your team as you going afk for the duration of the stomp animation. Instead, apply poison (dagger auto-attack or short bow #4) and dps them down.

You can attempt a stealth stomp on these classes and you will probably land it on less experienced players, but a good ele/mesmer will still port away shortly after you stealth since they will count on you attempting this.

THERE IS ONE EXCEPTION TO THIS, which is if you are fighting a mesmer and have absolutely no one nearby. In this case, you can pull off a stealth stomp since a mesmer needs to have an enemy targeted for the teleport to work.

Stomping a thief:
This is pretty much the same as a mesmer or ele EXCEPT if you have Infiltrator’s Signet. If you have this skill (which is a good all around PvP slot skill anyways), stomp like normal, but cast your Inf Sig as soon as the thief ports on their skill 2. This will teleport you to them without breaking the stomp so that you still land it. You can technically also do this with Shadowstep, but you cast it near the location that the thief ports to lightning fast. Considering that a good thief will wait to the last possible second of your stomp to port away, this isn’t nearly as reliable as using Inf Sig.

I THINK you can use Shadow Trap the same way as Inf Sig if you drop it on your enemy before starting the stomp, but I can’t confirm this.

@ Coloxeus: Awesome video with some really great tips/tricks!

edit I forgot the Shadow Step stomp, which works against guardians/engineers, but you can see that in Coloxeus’ vid.

Depends on enemy build, some builds can be more or less efficient:
Against glass cannon mesmers (shatter or duelists ) it is good to have an very mobile build with 15 points in acrobatics and good burst , also 1 stun breaker .
Also remember that mesmers got poor condition removal.
Against tanky mesmers (condition mesmers) is better to have some sustain , some regeneration /cond removal from SA.
Warriors :
Glass cannon warriors are easy to counter from range with short bow, after they use endure pain you can go for burst (you need at least 1 stun breaker) , blinds are also good counter .
against tanky warriors , with high defenece and a lot of CC , codnition build work better , also some sustain might be required
rangers are not hard to counter, you can counter the regen with poison field from shortbow , harras them on range, and when they switch to bow , try to burst them
Necromancers :
against those guys you need high hp pool and good condition removal ( sword main hand / 10 points in SA / shadowstep). you can disable all wells while stealthed with shadow refuge, when they got wells on Cooldown they are vulnerable.
Also avoid to fight them when they use elite (you got mobility and stealth)

1. Which build should i use?

  • I would suggest that you look at the Pistol / Dagger condition build. It’s easy to get the hang of and doesn’t require too much skill to be average with. However, what I really would encourage you to do is to search these forums and YouTube for different builds and find one that you think fit your style. You should also try to get the grip of traits and skills. You’ll find yourself changing them between matches or encounters – a lot! The key to be successful is learning your profession and find synergies between skills, runes, traits and sigils – this is important, but not something you must do, only if you want to be competitive on a higher level. I’d like to note that the current meta is very condition heavy, so be sure to bring condition removal.

2. How to fight against mesmers, warriors, rangers and necromancers?

  • Check YouTube for most of these fights. You can’t say “this is how you fight x class”, because it all depends on their build. Other than that I agree with what Rayya said. One thing I’d like to mention is that against builds with lot of AI (phantasm Mesmers, minion master necros or spirit rangers) you should abuse Dagger Storm, Signet of Malice and Black Powder / Smoke Screen / Shadow Refuge (Learn combo fields and finishers and you’ll see why).

3. Could you give me some nice and interesting tricks?

  • Stomps. If you’re using Pistol off-hand then drop Black Powder to blind the enemy and then stomp.
  • You won’t contest a capture point while stealthed.
  • Ecplore the different maps and learn where shadow steps work and doesn’t. You can shadow step with short bow #5, sword #2, Shadowstep skill, D/P and P/D #3. You can and should use this to teleport up and down from different places to get the advantage.
  • When stomping a thief, just start the stomp immediately and hit steal or shadowstep to teleport after the thief when he teleports away.
  • google shadowstep stomp and learn it.

Good luck!

problem is mug damages wich imediatly cancels your stealth i believe same goes for shadow shot however it might be possible with blinding power if you go Shadow shot>Blind powder>Backstab this might work with mug as well Mug>BP>BS
