Fairly new to thief, but I’m just curious as to whether or not you lose invisibility time when activating one whilst already invisible? E.g using Cloak and Dagger, Shadow Refuge, Blinding Powder, as well as the healing skill one after the other. Is there some form of cap or invisibility time reduction when doing this? Or does it generously add all 3 second boosts (10 in the case of SR) together? (As it should do.)
yes you can stack, Shadow refuge will give you 15, add a hide in shadows for and extra 3 or 4 depending on your trait set up, and if steal makes you go stealth, that another 3, blinding powder is another 3. add those up Someone correct me on stealth times if im wrong
EDIT: on that note, i wonder what would happen if multiple thieves stacked refuge on each other…..
Would you need to start with steal? I just thought that attacking while stealthed, even stealing, breaks the stealth and pings you with 3 seconds of no fun allowed?
I believe Invisibility is capped around 18 seconds. This is only really attainable by Dagger/Pistol Thieves however after extensive stacking via Black Powder.
Pretty sure the limit is 15s… Easily reached by SR, HiS, Steal with hidden thief trait.
You can also run smoke screen skill and spam HS or Cluster bomb in it’s field to give you stealth as well. That’s probably easier than black powder since it uses a lot of init.
When someone says you get 15 seconds of stealth remember the first 5 seconds are spent within the circle of SR followed by ten seconds of free movement.
Once you pop stealth there is a no stealth buff for I think 3 seconds…however…culling and such make it more like one second or in some case no seconds.

Yes it does. You can get stealth to over 14 seconds with shadow refuge and blinding powder. Also using haste seems to make SR give more ticks of stealth but I could be trippin. you could have easily tested this in game quicker than it took you to type this up and wait for a reply.
