Seriously, it seems like whoever animated the staff for the thief had no idea how people fight with a staff IRL. What we have is incredibly awkward, stiff, uncoordinated, and silly. I still can’t get over the twirly spin auto-attack that seems like something out of a bad Power Rangers rip-off.

Even Pistol/Pistol functions better than Staff.

I agree. I was hyped for daredevil and now I am really disappointed. Animations are horrible.

Only Skill 2 and 4 feel weird. All the others feel fine to be honest. I don’t get the hate on the animations :o

Vault in particular is awesome and the evade skill reacts really fast and feels good to use.

I think the staff is good, but it def looks weird

Thank you….the specialization is far from what it should look like for animations with the exception of vault. I cannot stress this point enough. I will petition this until anet changes them and if not..i guess i got black desert to look forward to.

@rain, the reason everyone is up in roar is because not a single animation is new. They are copy/pastes from other professions…

Ah okay. See that wasnt a big deal to me but I can understand people wanting new anims. I think aside from Vault and the dodge though, it would be cool to see new animations.
