State of the thief [Fleet of Foot]
My Idea:
Dodging removes cripple and weakness 1 condition from you. (10s cooldown)
With vigor buff and Feline Grace you can do 1 dodge every 3.5 seconds at most.
The Shadow Arts condition remove trait can clean a condition every 3 seconds. (this should be changed then)
Acrobatics Trait: VI
Dodging removes cripple, chilled and weakness from you. (8s cooldown)

I think it is really strange that it doesn’t remove chilled at the moment.
But for cripple and chilled i use withdraw anyways.
Acrobatics Trait XI (switch position with “Hard to Catch”):
Dodging removes cripple, chilled and immobilize from you. (3s cooldown)
or
Dodging removes 1 condition from you. (no internal cooldown)
but they’re a lot stronger
than they will be next year!
I dont know if it really needs to become a grandmaster trait.
The shadow arts trait can clean the same amount of conditions in the same time and is a adept trait as well.
But making it a master trait would be ok i think.
The shadow art trait (Shadow’s Embrace) is a bit OP afterall. I also think it should be move up 1 tier. Also I am still not sure it is working as intended since it removes the first condition as soon as the thief enters stealth that in my opinion is what is making that trait a bit over the top and almost a forced choice for every thief that relies on stealth.
By the way I also think that keeping “Fleet of Foot” in the same tier and making it to remove 1 condition every dodge would make it OP too, since it is in the same trait line (Acrobatics) of “Feline Grace”, but moving it up a tier could be balance it then.
I would then move down a tier “Pain Response” or maybe chainging it in something more active and less passive and random.
but they’re a lot stronger
than they will be next year!
I like the idea of making it just a flat condition removal. Assuming you had full endurance, you could burst remove 3 conditions. Even if you’re traited for vigor uptime with feline grace, you then remove 3 conditions in about 12 seconds which is slightly worse than shadow arts removal and definately worse than cleansing ire which is similarly placed in a defensive tree for warriors. You could combine it with SoA to gain a similar effect to the warrior signet except that you’d have to still blow 2 full bars of endurance over about 4 seconds (i.e. still not quite up to par with a single button press for warriors). It would be nice to have a condition removal that didn’t rely on stealth because if you kept reading the balance thread people are already asking for reveal mechanics for other classes. I’d like to be able to trait out of the SA tree if it’s going to become unreliable.
Withdraw is an ideal pairing with the acrobatics line but this trait doesn’t add enough with withdraw. On the other hand, this trait doesn’t cure enough movement conditions when paired with any different heal. This thief trait should have better purpose based on its pairing with thief heals.
