Ever since the bloodlust release, my steal or inf signet + C&D precast seems to land me 10 to 15 feet away from my target about half the time. And then my C/D misses, I’m not invis, my initiative doesn’t get replenished, and I am more than likely dead.

Is anyone else experiencing this type of position lag? It’s driving me freaking nuts.

the lag over all in world verses world has been really bad since this went live. crashed 3 times in less than 20 minutes the other day. my lag is more fps related, not so much positioning. either way, its unacceptable

My client crashes in medium sized wvw battles and then randomly out of the blue it seems. I spend most of my time in spvp now because at least I can play and enjoy myself there. I experienced a weird inf. sig. moment today kind of similar to what you described but I figured it was just lag. Only happened once.

On immediate release there were crashing issues in wvw, it’s more or less gone now and seems to be working fine again (or what we consider “fine” in WvW) You should go try again and see if there is any difference.

Sometimes I have hard times landing these skills too, but I mostly blame lag for that, since it is skyrocketing these days.

Don’t forget they ‘fixed’ shadowstep pathing a few months back. There was probably a tiny pebble between you and Target. Shadowsteps in general have a much higher fail rate since the fix

I’ve been having this problem too. It’s weird though. Sometimes when I use steal, I’ll appear next to the enemy, then snap back to where I was when I used it, but I’ll still have the stolen ability. Yet when I use Infiltrator’s Strike, I’ll do the same thing (appear next to the enemy, then snap back), but it sort of won’t hit the enemy (they don’t take damage or get immobilized, but I still draw aggro).
